I'm Oswaldo Moper, a senior software engineer focused on functional architecture and reproducible infrastructure. I help teams design, refactor and operate systems that are correct by construction and pleasant to maintain.

What I do

• Haskell & Yesod — domain modelling, type-driven design, deep refactors that preserve semantics while reducing effects and duplication.
• NixOS & flakes — reproducible builds, dev environments and CI/CD; turning "works on my machine" into "works everywhere, forever".
• PostgreSQL & data — schema design, query tuning and safe migrations.
• Platform / DevOps — robust pipelines, observability and infrastructure as code.
• Architecture & system design — alternative designs with explicit trade-offs, risk analysis and a clear recommendation.

How I work

I think in invariants, dependencies and risks. Every change comes with the reasoning behind it: what it improves, what it could break, and how to verify it. Purity, composition and clarity — no changing semantics.
